Shakir Ahmad Sheikh began his innovation journey by experimenting with IoT sensors and machine-learning models. His curiosity about automation led to the creation of the AI-based Apple Grading System, which uses cameras and algorithms to detect fruit quality — a project that later won national recognition from NITI Aayog and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This was just the beginning. What started as a student experiment became the foundation for a larger vision: using technology to improve industries and daily lives.
